The 1930 Ford Model A had many advantages that went along with its low cost in the era. The continuing economy of keeping the Model A in service was due to its simplicity in design, high quality of materials utilized in the build and Ford accuracy in the manufacturing and assembly processes. Restored in a correct frame-off manner and presented in Ford’s Pine Green with black fenders, chassis and wheels with tasteful red pinstriping; this nice looking pickup is powered by a 200.5-cid, 40-hp inline four-cylinder engine that is backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Among the features are a tilt-out windshield, windshield visor, driver’s side sidemount, mirror, chromed front bumper, dual taillights, vinyl-covered top, cloth interior, wire wheels, blackwall tires, finished wood bed floor and bed side rails. The Model A Pickup is reported to be in excellent running and driving condition having spent the majority of its last 17 years in a private collection.

It is reported that the Ford has a “well balanced engine,” plus it “drives extremely well and starts with ease.” The pickup has been housed in a climate controlled facility to help preserve the restored condition of this multiple show-winning vehicle.
