Debuting at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, the Bentley Azure was considered one of the last great Bentleys before the VW take over a few years later. As successor to the Continental R, it was clear that pedigree was in mind with the Auzre design, and that luxury was paramount in producing an engineering master piece. The men and women at the Crewe, England factory where all Azures received their final approval, did a tremendous job with old-world craftsmanship. The leather, wood and metal finishes are truly impressive. This car easily translates to pure luxury.
The example on offer here is presented in black with a tan leather interior; a great combination that conveys a sporty elegance reserved for few cars quite like the esteemed Bentley line. The Bentley runs, drives, handles and stops very well for a car weighing nearly 5,700 pounds. The 6.75-liter Turbo V-8 churns out nearly 385-hp and is no slouch as it gracefully climbs to speed with ease, and quickly too. The car has recently received a major service and the convertible top system has been redone. Luxury appointments and conveniences are plentiful and include air conditioning, navigation system, radio with CD, bright factory alloy wheels; power windows, top, steering and four-wheel disc brakes. The car is also accompanied by its books and records.
