The 1966 Corvette Coupe saw few changes in appearance from the previous model year. A new eggcrate grille, ribbed rocker panel molding and elimination of the roof vents gave the car a cosmetic difference that thrilled its dedicated customers. One change that gave the car a more aggressive look was the power-bulge hood that came with 427-cid V-8 equipped cars.
This beautiful Corvette is powered by a 427-cid V-8 engine, mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine has been upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, braded coolant hoses, Mallory ignition and an engine dress-up kit which includes the alternator. The exterior is sporting black paint, attractive brightwork, side pipe header exhaust, dual sport-style mirrors and knock-off wheels. The interior shows its age and is tailored with black vinyl bucket seats, AM radio, three-spoke wood steering wheel and black carpet.
