The 1957 Courier is most-often thought of as a strikingly modern (for the time) custom delivery with completely new sculpted body that features a full-wrap rear window and fully lined interior.

The 1957 models are among the most popular of Fords, and for the enthusiast who has seen all of the convertibles and hardtops that the world has to offer, this excellent coroner’s vehicle is a tempting option for “something different.” It is powered by a V-8 engine (the 272-cid was the base for the Courier) that is matched to an automatic transmission. The Ford has uncommon and very desirable Select Aire factory air conditioning, dual spotlight/mirrors, dual rearview mirrors, clock, heater and individual seats. Decorative side trim gives some indication of the vehicle’s purpose as does the front “Coroner” tag and repeated in hand painted text on the rear gate. The rear interior displays that the Ford was prepared to transport any decedents. The Courier Sedan Delivery shows many original appearing elements; only furthering the stories this Ford has been a part of.
