This ’34 Ford is all “Henry Ford steel,” chopped 5.5-inches and built with original 1950s speed equipment and has been with the same caring owner for the past 10 years. This eye-catching custom is powered by a bored and stoked 59A Ford flathead V-8 engine with a Winfield Super 1A cam, Evans heads, dual Stromberg 97 carbs; Thickston high-rise intake manifold and air cleaner. This unit is connected to 1939 manual transmission and the rear end has 3.56:1 gearing.

The front end is set with a Mor-Drop axle and the coupe uses Buick drum brakes. The top was filled and the roll pan was fabricated by the legendary Dick Dean, often associated with his work with the famed George Barris. The bench seat is handsome in blue with white insert and piping. You’re strapped in place with competition-type seatbelts. In 2007, this all-business machine was awarded a Gilmore Heritage Award.
