Purchased new at Mervis Motors in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this time-warp X1/9 has been with its original owner for 35 years. Styled by Marcello Gandini, the X1/9 was produced by Fiat from 1972-1982 and by coachbuilder Bertone from 1982-1989. It is one of 160,000 produced. Power is supplied by a 1290-cc inline four-cylinder engine and four-speed manual transmission. At a tick just over 2,100 pounds, handling is both light and nimble. Finished in Metallic Blue (paint code 447) over a brown interior, it is equipped with its original AM/FM radio, power brakes and air conditioning. Over $4,000 in service has been recently completed on this extremely original example.
