Most every detail has been considered in the building of this superb Ford custom; every component on this car is reported to be top-of-the-line. The body is a combination of aluminum and fiberglass and is finished in DuPont Fire Orange and the undercarriage displays an “old school” flame job. The paint alone cost a reported $30,000.
A 350-cid, 400-hp V-8 engine is color-matched with polished Brodix heads, Inglese fuel injection system, FAST computer, MSD ignition with 6A box and custom-built aluminum radiator with electric fan. The driveline also incorporates a color-matched Turbo 350 automatic transmission with shift kit. The chassis is also custom-built with polished stainless steel four-link rear, completely polished and chromed quick-change rear end, vented Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Heidts coilover shocks at front and rear and inboard shocks on the front with polished stainless steel A-arms. The car rides on Continental tires that wrap Billet Specialties custom wheels. They are 20- x 9.5-inches at the rear and 17- x 7-inches at the front giving the car an aggressive stance.
The interior features off-white leather with custom street rod seats and a custom-built dash complete with Dakota Digital. The console is also produced specifically for this car. Conveniences are in abundance and they include Vintage Air with billet grilles, keyless start; power windows and trunk. The trunk is in keeping with the rest of the presentation and is finely finished to match the interior leather.
