One of 1,690 produced in 1953, marking Buick’s 50th anniversary. It is an excellent, highly original example that received a no expense spared, concours-quality restoration. It is powered by 322-cid, 188-hp V-8 engine with an automatic transmission.
The body is presented in the brilliant 1953 Skylark color of Osage Cream. The interior is red and white, correct to original design.
The underbody received factory correct white inner fenders. Chrome and stainless trim are to show quality standards. The Skylark exclusive trim, ornaments and badges are all correct.
The dash is restored to like new condition. The car’s many features, including factory clock and radio, antenna, power top and windows function like new. The Skylark also has Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels wrapped in wide whitewall tires.
Overall, this 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible is in virtually flawless condition and is without doubt concours ready.
