This 1969 Plymouth Barracuda “S” is being offered by the consignor as, “one of the finest ‘69 Cudas in North America.” It has received numerous US national awards along with many local awards to help back up this claim.

The Barracuda was restored by an avid Mopar collector and has been featured in “MoparMax” - no expense was spared in the restoration of this Cuda. The 275-hp, 340-cid V-8 engine was rebuilt from top to bottom; the 727 automatic transmission has also been redone. The suspension and front end were also rebuilt. The Sports Fastback comes with a new dual-exhaust system - front to rear, including stock exhaust manifolds. The body and paint are reported to be impeccable, utilizing the original color of Barracuda Orange with black stripes. Over $20,000 was spent on the body alone. The restoration includes an all new Legendary Auto Interior. This consists of seats, headliner, door panels, console chrome, carpet and more.

The Barracuda “S” package comes with a 150-mph speedometer, along with a tachometer and anti-sway bars. The interior features bucket seats and a center console. Other equipment found on the Barracuda is factory air conditioning that works as expected, four-wheel disc brakes, a new gas tank, new American Racing Torque Thrust staggered rims, new BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires are fitted.
