This Cadillac represents the Golden (50th) Anniversary of the luxury auto maker. Cadillac executed many cosmetic upgrades for the 1952 model year; the 331-cid, 190-hp V-8 engine made the Cadillac the most powerful American car of the time. The transmission is an automatic Hydra-Matic, which was standard equipment on the car.
This Cadillac Series 62 Convertible has received a complete “nuts-and-bolts”, frame-off restoration which includes a completely rebuilt engine, new chrome throughout, polished stainless, all new glass, new door step plates and new weather seals. Features found on this example include a factory-type Continental kit, chrome wire wheels with wide whitewall tires, tan colored leather upholstery, aluminized dual-exhaust system; power windows, seats and steering. The Cadillac has been kept in a climate-controlled environment.
