The original styling of the new Buick Riviera sport coupe for 1971 was exemplified by the bold front end design that features a long, tapered hood with strong, sculpted lines and a V-shaped grille, sleek roofline with thin windshield pillars and the distinctive boat-tail rear deck and window. Not one line or surface of the 1971 Riviera was shared with any other car. Inside is another world of luxury with tastefully presented subtle lines of elegance.

The Riviera on offer has never been restored and lives on in rare form. 1971 was the first year for the boat-tail body style and the only year featuring louvers on the trunk. This was the last year for the car to be fitted with the 455-cid, 315-hp V-8 engine; it is connected to a GM Turbo-HydraMatic automatic transmission. The car is still found in its original Copper Mist paint and original, immaculate Sandalwood cloth interior. The car is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, vinyl top and AM/FM radio. The Riviera also comes with the original title from Schlemmer Buick dated July 15, 1971 (the current title still shows actual miles), original Schlemmer Buick key chain, manuals and spare tire. The car is fitted with updated chrome wheels, the original wheels come with this 67,000 mile machine.
