For 1969, Ford continued the evolution of its seminal ponycar by giving it a facelift that was just enough to let buyers know it was a new model without being so different as to mess with an incredibly winning formula. Slightly longer and wider than the previous year, the 69 featured quad headlights and a different pony emblem in the grille than before.
