The all-new Camaro was selected to pace the 1993 Indianapolis 500, becoming the first car in history to be selected for that honor four times. To commemorate the event, Chevrolet built 645 pace car replicas to be sold to the public. They are quite distinctive in their appearance with flowing, ribbon-like side graphics that gives the car the feel of constant motion. As is custom, the Camaro is presented with the Indianapolis 500 event graphics and Indianapolis Motor Speedway logos. The cloth interior of the car is equally unique with multi-colored fabric on the seats and door side-panels complementing the cars exterior motif.

These cars carry a full accompaniment of power conveniences such as air conditioning, power driver’s seat, locks and windows, a Delco-Bose entertainment system and glass T-tops. Power is borrowed from the Corvette, utilizing the 350-cid, 275-hp V-8 engine that is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and in no need of modification to pace the race field.

This particular '93 Camaro pace car has just 413 miles from new, and is preserved in every way imaginable, including the seats still in wrap and complete documentation.
