The 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible was the only four-door American-built convertible and it was as luxurious and automated as any car; interior controls are easily within ones fingertips. They were made with great care and craftsmanship to produce one of America’s most distinguished motorcars.

The Continental on offer is finished in Venetian Yellow with its original interior in Black leather and vinyl pleated seats; the front bench being power. Other interior conveniences consist of the power convertible top that disappears into the trunk, power windows (including the vent windows), power door locks, power brakes (front discs) and power steering. The car is also fitted with the optional Stereo-Sonic tape system with AM radio.

The car is powered by the 462-cid, 340-hp V-8 engine mated to the new for 1966 Twin-Range Turbo-Drive automatic transmission. The engine and drivetrain, along with numerous mechanical components have been thoroughly reworked so you can drive and enjoy the Continental with confidence. The odometer registers 35,500 miles.

Among the rebuilt items are: Engine; new pistons, camshaft, crankshaft ground and block line-bored, original heads machined and fitted with all-new valves and hardened seats to compensate for unleaded fuel without fuel additives, engine is fully balanced, gas tank was removed, vatted and sealed, new fuel gauge sending unit, carburetor rebuilt, new fuel pump. Along with these upgrades you will also find the transmission has been disassembled, resealed and serviced, new front shocks, the front suspension has been removed, powder coated and reassembled with new bushings and linkages. There is also a new fan clutch; the radiator has been remanufactured, as is the air conditioning compressor with new lines and dryer. The car is fitted with a completely new stainless steel exhaust system and new power brake booster and master cylinder. Drive with assurance of reliability.
