The styling and engineering advance brought forth with the 1963 Corvette should be enough on their own to make it one of the most desirable of collector cars. Thanks to the efforts of two of the Corvettes biggest proponents, the 63 coupe has an added bonus in the split rear window. Bill Mitchell was th GM styling director who took great personal interest and pride in the Corvette and he pushed very hard for the split rear window feeling it was an integral part of the overall theme of the car. Pushing back against Mitchell was engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov who also saw the Corvette as his personal baby and sought constantly to purify it as a sports car. To this end, Zora felt the split window impeded rear vision and ultimately he got his way. This made the 63 split window a one year only version and it has become highly valued today in the collector market.

This split window boasts of Tuxedo Black with Saddle Leather interior, numbers matching, factory air conditioning, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and restored several years ago. Don't miss a chance to own one of the most highly sought after Corvettes.
