The Lincoln Continental featured advanced European styling that left a powerful impression on the American public. Its design was so greatly appreciated that the Museum of Modern Art selected the Continental as one of eight automotive works of art. This cabriolet originates from a southern estate and is finished in dark blue with tan leather interior and top, quite similar to a rendering featuring this model in the Lincoln brochures of the era. This car has undergone a $75,000 restoration, both cosmetically and mechanically. Power is derived from a 292-cid, 125-hp V-12 engine coupled to a three-speed column-mounted shifter.
