For 1958, Corvette received updates to the body and interior, which included a longer front end with quad-headlamps, bumper-exiting exhaust tips, exterior brightwork, a new steering wheel, a passenger grab-bar, seatbelts and dashboard with all gauges mounted directly in front of the driver; including a 160 mph speedometer. Design exclusives to the 1958 model were hood louvers and twin trunk spars. Enthusiast magazines of the period were quite positive about the mechanical changes and suitably impressed with the cars performance and handling, all at a reasonable price. With 9,168 units produced, the Corvette was one of only a few domestic car models to increase its sales figures in 1958.

The car on offer is one of approximately 1,500 fuel-injected examples produced in 1958. With a rich two-tone color combination that is optioned with removable hardtop, four-speed manual transmission, radio and whitewall tires.
