Four distinct generations of the Camaro were developed before production ended in 2002. The popular brand was revived in the naming of the Camaro Concept, an award-winning design exercise that stole the spotlight at the North American International Auto Show in 2008. When production plans were announced for this fifth generation by GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, he stated: “Camaro is much more than a car; it symbolizes America’s spirit and its love affair with the automobile.”

A passion for the Camaro was reignited by enthusiasts throughout America, demonstrated by its strong sales. It is considered to be a thoroughly modern interpretation of the popular 1969 styling. In April 2010 the Camaro was named the World Car Design of the Year at the World Car of the Year Awards. As recently as December 2010; consultants to the National Automotive History Collection voted this car as a best projected collectable vehicle among current production cars.

When Chevrolet reintroduced the Camaro in the 2010 model year, this was the 35th car built. It remains in as-new condition, with only 1,731 miles on the odometer. This Camaro is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, silver exterior, and a black and grey two-tone leather interior. The interior options include Boston Acoustics premium sound, a four gauge auxiliary cluster, and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
