All cars are sold “as-is, where-is” and no guarantees are warrantied or expressed in any way, we also recommend a full mechanical inspection prior to any road use.

Riley became a part of the Morris-MG-Wolseley Nuffield Organization in 1938. Riley’s RM models were the last ones developed by Riley, because of this they are regarded as “the last of the real Riley’s.” It is believed that Riley produced 28,000 RM-series cars and most of them were four-door sedans, but 503 of these are fitted with the drophead coupe body. Enthusiasts believe that less than 50 of these remain in existence today making this car extremely rare.

The successful pre-war engine design was carried over and featured hemispherical combustion chambers with twin camshafts. This engine is an inline four-cylinder and is fueled by twin SU carburetors and coupled to a four-speed manual transmission. The chassis has independent, torsion bar front suspension with a live rear axle fitted with semi-elliptical springs.

The dark red paint on this Riley shows very well, along with the brightwork. Fixed to the exterior are fender mounted mirrors, bumper mounted fog lamps; and wheels with whitewall tires and factory wheel covers. Inside the car the white leather pleated interior shows exceptionally well as does the wood trim that adorns the doors and dash. The tan convertible top is accompanied by a matching boot cover.
