This 1990 VW Vanagon Synchro (4WD) Westfalia Camper is a one-owner time capsule. This rare car successfully combines two of the more desirable models of the Vanagon, the Synchro (4WD) and Westfalia. It was originally purchased in Southern California, where it has lived since. Meticulously maintained, it has received scheduled maintenance at ‘Santa Monica VW’ and ‘Buerge VW’ with receipts from new included. The car is presented in factory original Champagne; and the paint is reported to be in excellent condition. The car is powered by a 2.1-liter, fuel-injected four-cylinder engine which is paired to a floor-shift four-speed manual transmission. The Synchro refers to the four-wheel-drive system built by Steyr-Daimler-Puch. The Synchro models featured a lifted drive train with a special gear to climb hills. The Power options on the car include power windows, mirrors, steering and brakes.

The interior features front swivel captain’s chairs and a rear bench seat that folds into a bed. The Westfalia designates a camper version of the Vanagon with a pop-up roof and opening skylight. When folded out there is two double beds and sleeps four comfortably (two up and two down). The back of the car has a refrigerator, two-burner stove, stainless-steel sink with 13-gallon water storage, two folding picnic tables, as well as copious amounts of storage space.

This is an excellent opportunity to own a rust and accident free VW Vanagon Synchro (4WD) Westfalia Camper. It would be difficult to find better example in such excellent stock condition.
