The Harley Earl-designed Cadillac Series 62 models from 1954-1956 featured a lower and, subsequently, sleeker looking body than previous models. This popular iteration derives its power from a 351 cubic inch overhead valve V8 engine mated to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The scale of these vehicles is grand, with the two-door models measuring over six feet wide and eighteen feet long.
This 1956 Cadillac Series 62 convertible comes from long-term storage and, as such, will require a full recommission. It appears to be a dry black plate California car with beige paint, a serviceable beige interior, and matching top. This largely original and complete Cadillac is, undoubtedly, a worthy venture.
