The Jensen Interceptor was hand-built at the Kelvin Way Factory, West Bromwich near Birmingham in the United Kingdom by Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1976. The Interceptor used an Italian body by Carrozzeria Touring and employed an American drivetrain with a Chrysler 383 cubic inch V-8 engine. Known as the “Gentlemen’s Sports Car,” they were both had top speeds over 150-mph.
This Jensen Cabriolet is finished in a brown exterior with a matching lush, beige leather interior. Powering this car is the large 440-cid V-8 engine, rather than the 383-cid which most other Interceptors had. Connected to the engine is a fully automatic transmission. The convertible offered here features power steering, brakes, windows and convertible top; air conditioning and an 8-track player and radio.
