In 1955, a class of automobiles known as the K-class, required a vehicle to be no longer than 9-feet, 10-inches, to comply with Japanese government regulations to ensure adequate parking for vehicles, while being powered by a engine under 360-cc. This uniquely styled, rear engine car is equipped with a 356-cc engine and backed by a three-speed “Auto-Clutch,” or semi-automatic transmission which eliminated the use of a manual clutch and operated the component with the use of an electromagnet. This car received an older restoration and is showing small signs of spirited use; the white exterior is accented with chrome moldings around the windows, dual fender-mounted rear view mirrors and presented with a complementing red interior.
