42-cid, 10-hp twin-cylinder opposed air-cooled two-cycle engine, three-speed manual transmission with two-speed transfer case, rigid suspension. Wheelbase: 57-inches

Also known as “Carrier, Light Weapons, Infantry,” the M274 truck is most often called the “Mule.” Developed to supplement both the quarter-ton Jeep and three-quarter-ton M37 Weapons Carriers, it was introduced in 1956 and manufactured through 1970, during which time 11,240 were built. Using a variety of engines over the years, the Mule had a constant four-wheel drive setup and no suspension. Very versatile, it was also capable of being air-dropped. The units being offered are the “A5” variants, with two-cycle, air-cooled engines.

This former Marine Corps M274A5 has a Fairbanks Morse engine, and is painted olive drab. Showing considerable use, it appears ready to work after a brief re-commissioning.
