This cute Isetta received a complete and exhaustive restoration that is reported to have just been completed as of June 2013. Restored by marque specialist, the “Isetta Dude of Upland, California”, the BMW received many upgrades for improvement in both drivability and function.
Said upgrades include, but are not limited to; Relocation kit with heavy-duty drive couplings, improved fuel valve, upgraded Polyurethane steering bushings, window rubber kits, proper door seal rubber and Kevlar heater and air intake tubes. Additionally, the Isetta has received all new brakes with stainless steel braided flex lines, and the engine and transmission are completely rebuilt with an overbore on the cylinder and new piston with all new bearings in the rear and front end. Set off in a beautiful two-tone color combination, the Isetta is complemented with an Ultra-Leather interior and German wool carpet, an exact reproduction of the original seat material. Overall, it is an outstanding example to pay close attention to.
