This outstanding Ford Ute custom features an all steel hand-crafted body that was designed by Randy Giovenale and constructed by metal artist Alyn Swedberg. The finish work and paint was executed by Custom Automotive of Portland, Oregon.

The chassis is by TCI with front and rear air suspension. The car also has power rack-and-pinion steering and power four-wheel disc brakes.

The custom Ute is powered by a Ford 4.6-liter, DOHC, 32-valve V-8 engine that is mated to a five-speed Tremec manual transmission. This component was taken from a donor car with 128 miles. The drivetrain has approximately 200 miles on it since new. The exhaust note resonates through a custom stainless steel exhaust system. The fuel is housed in a custom-made stainless steel fuel tank.

The cabin is beautifully appointed with custom leather interior, banjo steering wheel, tilt column and hand-formed chrome metal accents. Additionally the car has air conditioning and a custom (hidden) AM/FM sound system. The rear compartment is finished in Birdseye Maple with hand-formed chrome wear strips. Three hatches open to allow easy access.

Boyd Coddington wheels add to the overall look and these have Cobra insignias engraved on the center caps.

The vehicle has been inspected and given the “Road Ready Certification” on two occasions. Every facet of this car has been constructed to the highest quality show standards at a cost of over $450,000. This special machine has rarely been shown.
