The Volkswagen Bus offered here marks the first year of the bay window transition from the previous design of a split-window windshield. Bay window busses have recently become very popular and are swiftly becoming more and more collectable like their predecessors as well. This example has recently undergone both a cosmetic and mechanical freshening, plus a repaint in its factory color. Along with this, the VW has had a full engine rebuild. It is reported be a strong running example and is being offered on behalf of its long time Southern California private museum owners.
