Shortly after retiring from racing due to a heart ailment, Carroll Shelby partnered with AC to offer a V-8 version of their Ace. Shelby turned to Ford to supply the engine. They offered a brand new 260-cid HiPo V-8 engine for the project. The culmination of this unique partnership was the AC Cobra. Production ran from 1962 to 1967, during which time the engines grew in size with a 289-cid V-8 as well as a 427-cid V-8 engine.
This 1965 AC Cobra Replica is presented in silver with black racing stripes. The car is powered by a 427-cid V-8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The 427-cid engine sounds great through the side pipe exhausts. The car rides on BFGoodrich Radial T/As mounted on American Racing Shelby wheels. The interior is completed in black and features bucket seats with G-Force Racing Gear seatbelts, wood steering wheel with Cobra center cap and Cobra emblem floor mats. Additional features on the car include a driver’s side roll bar and windshield windwings.
