In 1957 Ford’s top-of-the-line offering was the Fairlane 500. The 1957 Ford line received a complete restyle over the previous model year. For 1957 the Fairlane model was nine inches longer and five inches lower. Fourteen-inch wheels were offered for the first time which also helped to lower the car. The 1957 model year also saw the introduction of tailfins, or as Ford referred to them as “high-canted fenders,” across the entire model line.

This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible is an exceptional car with 32,610 displayed on the odometer; it’s presented in a beautiful two-tone blue and white, with a new white convertible power top. The color scheme remains the same on the interior with original two-tone blue and white seats with blue carpet. The car rides on BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires mounted on blue wheels, with deluxe wheel covers. Additionally, the interior has the added safety feature of seatbelts. The car retains the original top boot in the original bag as well as the original jack. This is an exceptional original car that has received a quality repaint on lower body only, top surfaces are reported to retain original paint.
