The Firebird was now in its eleventh year and had experienced some subtle design modifications since the previous model. This bold new breed of Trans Am was advertised as “stronger than ever.” The front end was cast in a durable urethane that now featured ported headlights, and a new, exclusive black tail treatment. It was in Pontiac’s top line performance position and included a distinctive outlay of extractors and deflectors, plus front and rear stabilizer bars as standards.

This is a well-equipped, one owner example that is finished in Code 15 Silver with an Oyster interior. The Trans Am is powered by the 6.6-liter L80 V-8 engine that is matched to an automatic transmission; bucket seats and center console provide an inviting interior. The car is reported to have been sparingly used and remains in very nice, original condition. The car is a Canadian edition that features kilometers versus miles. Among the features are T-tops, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM/cassette radio, lamp group, hood graphics; power windows, steering and brakes. It is accompanied by its books and the original bill of sale.
