Proving that everything about the Chrysler was big (other than the price tag), the Newport line was proof positive that this full-sized and luxurious convertible was for everyone. The Newport had a good sales run in the late ‘60s, thanks in part to cars like the one being offered. This Newport runs an original spec V-8 engine with automatic transmission and resides in a well-detailed engine compartment that is dry and stain-free. It is presented in Antique Ivory with wood-grain side inserts and has a black vinyl power convertible top with a glass back window and black vinyl bench seat interior. The chrome brightwork is clean and straight. Among the other features are nicely presented dash, gauges, carpets, tilt wheel; power steering and brakes. Pirelli radial whitewall tires and factory road wheels provide the proper period look. Please note that the car is equipped with rear fender skirts that were not fixed in place when the photos were taken.
