Chevrolet began offering their now legendary SS package in 1961. This beautiful example was body-on restored in 2001 and still looks great. The car runs with its correct drivetrain; the engine is a 348-cid, 250-hp V-8 that is connected to a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission delivering characteristic SS performance.
This Impala is finished in Seamist Turquoise and has a white convertible power top. The original interior is a complimentary blue two-tone with a bench seat. This special car is also equipped with a Sun tachometer and tissue dispenser.
The exterior has wonderful visual appeal with fender skirts, dual power antennas, spinner hubcaps, optional bumper guards and wide whitewall tires. Distinctive trim is abundant on the Impala and further contributes to the proper and stylish look that this car delivers.
