- Wood-spoke wheels with wide whitewall tires, rear trunk and rack, driving lights, dual sidemounts with chrome decorative covers that have attched mirrors, windshield wind-wings and cowl lights
- Buick introduced the Marquette as a companion car after the success Oakland and Cadillac enjoyed spawning Pontiac and LaSalle
