Ford’s 1957 Fairlane convertible stylistically was a break with the past: this dramatic Flame Red and Raven Black example proves it while being beautiful in its own right. The chrome is immaculate, while the red and white interior is stunning. The overhead valve V-8 passes its power back by means of an automatic transmission: engine checks are made after lifting the front-hinged hood. This example has a power top, power steering, dual exhausts, color-matched fender skirts and wide whitewall tires that help complete the picture. It is hard to think of a more perfect representation of a timeline of cars than this Fairlane Sunliner.
