This Ford F-100 Pickup is the result of a fresh build of 3,400 miles by NASCAR driver, Carl Edwards’, mechanic. It uses a Ford 292-cid Y-block engine with an Isky cam; this is adapted to a four-speed automatic transmission that connects to a final-drive that ends with a 31-spline, 3:25.1 gears, nine-inch rear end. These components ride on a chassis with an independent front suspension that is fitted with power front disc brakes. Other upgrades include new bright work, new rubber and felt, new wiring harness, and installation of a new windshield and side windows. The multi-colored interior, rustic finish and Halibrand-style American Racing wheels create a nostalgic look for this Ford; it is reported to be dependable with great highway driving characteristics.
