This brilliant red 1955 Ford Thunderbird V-8 is an unrestored low mileage two-door convertible that was displayed in the Ford museum. The interior and exterior are both in superb condition on this introductory year Thunderbird. The black top caps the red body nicely, while the red and white interior appears nearly new. Options include a pushbutton radio, whitewalls, power brakes and a Ford-O-Matic transmission. Ford sold more than 16,000 Thunderbirds this first year, a figure that assured a continued line. This vivid example of Ford’s “personal car” is a remarkable survivor, driver and show vehicle, ready-to-go.
