This 1950 Cosmopolitan Sport Sedan is powered by an L-head V-8 engine with 336.7-cid and turns out 152-hp and is coupled to a three-speed manual transmission. This two-tone Lincoln has recessed headlights; is executive sized at 212-inches long and is a very solid platform that has the standard power windows. The Cosmopolitan runs, drives and stops great; it is reported to be a real pleasure to drive. The horizontal grille bar with vertical elements was new for 1950. The Lincoln is fitted with chrome full-wheel covers and wide whitewalls. This diverse model of car finished ninth overall in the 1950 La Carrera Panamerica, and 19 were ordered by the White House for VIP usage.
