With a V-8 engine, a 400 automatic transmission, eight-inch Ford rear differential, Crager wire wheels, air conditioning, power brakes and steering, as well as a contrasting purple and silver finish, this 1934 Chevrolet blends classic styling with modern dependability. When introduced in 1934, the new Chevrolets moved toward independent, modern styling with attributes such as sweeping fenders, free standing headlights, and a narrow, vertical grille rather than the mimicking of Cadillac that were the hallmark of the 1932 and 1933 models.
