This 1957 Chevrolet 210 features a 396-cid Chevrolet V-8 engine, aluminum radiator, 700R four-speed automatic transmission with Hurst shifter, heavy duty suspension, front disc brakes, limited slip rear differential and competition orange and red paint. Even though the 1957 model Chevrolets shared a basic body shell and numerous components with the 1955 and 1956 models, an integrated front bumper and grille presented a more massive look. Promotion heralded these as cars that “goes ‘em all one better – with exciting new looks…zippy new power…luxurious new interiors.” Today, the two-door 1957 Chevrolet is an internationally recognized American automotive icon.
