This 1953 MG TD is powered by a 1,250-cc inline four-cylinder, 54-hp engine with overhead valves; the drive train is mated to a four-speed manual floor-mounted transmission synchronized on the top three gears. Newly-repainted in iconic British Racing Green, with a tan interior, spare tire cover and top, this TD keeps its original look with owner described “low mileage” and side curtains. An engine tune up, new gas tank, fuel system, brakes, master and wheel cylinders complete the roadster’s recent mechanical maintenance. 1953 was the last year of MG’s TD production.
