With a model lineup that led from modest sixes to semi-custom eights, Chrysler covered an unusually broad spectrum of the luxury and near-luxury market in 1941. The company was the tenth best seller in the model year and the eighth largest producer of American cars in the calendar year, standing based upon careful engineering, thoughtful features, attractive subtle styling, and sound value for the money.

The charming six-cylinder Windsor sedan offered here represents a sentimental favorite in the Scott collection, where it has resided for several years. Finished in Gunmetal, it boasts a complementary dove grey cloth interior, accented by a correct and authentic modeled plastic dashboard and interior trim, which is original and shows some signs of age and wear. Accessories include a handsome radio and dashboard clock, a MoPar Deluxe heater, and the optional Fluid Drive transmission, which ensures cruising ease.

A delightful driver for the enthusiast just entering the hobby, or for the late pre-war Chrysler devotee, this car offers wonderful style and typically superb MoPar engineering for the money. It would look right at home with a family of four and their dog aboard, just as it did back in 1941.
