The Pininfarina designed Ferrari is truly a one-of-a-kind car. This car is said to be a one-off 456GTA V-12 Targa with a minuscule 21,000 miles. It is reported that the car was originally owned and customized for Shaquille O’Neil who was a former NBA star that had a phenomenal 19 year career that started in 1992.

This is an outstanding Ferrari with the Pininfarina wedge-shape design and is powered by a 436-hp, 5.5-liter V-12 power plant. The car is also equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, windows and air conditioning. The exquisite interior is shown in a lovely cream, and is accented by a nicely presented blue exterior with chrome wheels.

The 5.5-liter engine won the “over 4-liter” class of the International Engine of the Year Award in 2000 and 2001. This stout engine made this car the fastest production four-passenger car in the world, which could push these occupants to a lightning fast speed of 188-mph. This car could accelerate to 62-mph in just 5.2 seconds; which at the time, was the most powerful road car Ferrari had produced besides the F40.

Approximately 3,289 of all versions were built. This one-off 456GTA has been documented as one of the “other bodies” that exist from two, four-door sedan versions built for Brunei Royals, a handful of four-door estate wagons, and a few convertibles of which one was once owned by the boxer Mike Tyson.

This Ferrari is not only presented in outstanding condition, but provides a unique level of authenticity and celebrity pedigree that is extremely rare. These Ferraris are widely considered one of the most affordable V-12’s, and quite possibly one of the best grand touring coupes.
