Built to recreate the factory altered wheelbase cars, the front axle of this particular Coronet was moved 10-inches forward with the rear moved 15-inches forward for maximum acceleration. Built by Richard Lefebvre, it is finished in Mercedes-Benz Brilliant Silver and has the correct red superstock interior. With a complete rotisserie restoration, a completely balanced and blueprinted 426-cid V-8 engine with 452 heads and 509 cam with a Chrysler four-speed transmission with Hurst-shifter power this Coronet. It is also equipped with a Don Gartlis Hilborn fuel injection air cleaner, hidden Vintage Air and Lexan windows. The exhaust has Max Wedge manifolds with three-inch stainless pipes. This outstanding Coronet is a Detroit Auto-Rama 4th place winner and a Popular Hot Rodding magazine feature car.
