For 1956, the Starfire was powered by a 240 horsepower 324 cubic inch "Rocket" overhead valve high compression V-8. and was equipped with "Jetaway" Hydra-Matic transmission, padded dash, courtesy lights, power steering, deluxe steering wheel, clock, spinner wheel covers and windshield washers. Finished in black with a red leather interior accented by white leather inserts and red carpets. Other options include power brakes, power windows, power front bench seat, signal seeking 8-tube radio and a power antenna. It has had a very thorough and complete restoration and has seen little use since it was restored. One of just 8,581 Starfires built in 1956.
