  • One of just 233 examples delivered new to the United States for the 1992 model year
  • 3.3-liter, flat six-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transaxle
  • Satin Black Metallic over Classic Grey leather
  • Retains its numbers-matching engine and gearbox

The 964 Turbo's M30/69 engine displaced 3.3-liters and produced 320 horsepower at 5,750 rpm thanks to a larger intercooler that dropped the temperature of the intake air and improved volumetric efficiency. This engine used stainless-steel head gaskets for improved durability and sealing, a revised ignition system, and metallic catalyst in the exhaust system. The new and improved motor turned the Porsche Turbo 3.3 into the world's fastest-accelerating production car, bar none. Car & Driver declared the Turbo 3.3 "a rocketship" that could hit 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just over four seconds and fly through the quarter mile in the 12 seconds at 108 mph.

This 3.3 Turbo Coupe offered here was produced on 19 September 1991 and clad in the reserved, yet attractive color combination of Satin Black Metallic over Classic Grey leather. According to production figures compiled by Norbert Franz for Porsche 911 Turbo Air-Cooled Years 1975-1998, this example is one of just 233 Turbo 3.3 Coupes delivered new to the United States for the 1992 model year. An accompanying window sticker and options placard show that the car was equipped with a power sunroof, and full ‘draped’ leather seating for front and rear occupants. Observation of the cars extant stampings confirm that it retains its numbers-matching engine and six-speed transaxle, as provided by the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity on file. The consignor notes that the forward end of the car has been fitted with a professional paint film protection regimen.

This powerful and rarified 964-variant is offered with its tools, manuals, window sticker, warranty booklet, spare, integrated OKI car phone, and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
