  • Exceptionally rare RHD Giulia GTC, one of only 99 produced
  • Recent restoration by Alfaholics with suspension and engine upgrades

Please note that this lot will need to be collected in Chobham, U.K.

The cabriolet version of Alfa Romeo’s beloved Giulia Sprint GT, the GTC was only produced from 1964-1966, with just under 1,000 examples produced. Amongst those cars, GTCs produced for RHD markets were only built in 1965 and 1966, with only 99 example produced in total.

First registered in the U.K. in June of 1965, chassis number 760007 was first registered with M. McKinney of Barons Cross, Leominster according to the accompanying V5.

In 2018, the current owner of the GTC commissioned a restoration by the U.K. based Alfa Romeo specialists at Alfaholics and the car has also been upgraded with Alfaholics Stage 1 Fast Road Suspension Package and Alfaholics wheels in an effort to improve handling, balance, and overall ride quality.

The engine was also fully rebuilt with forged pistons, billet cams and race quality valve gear, ported heads, and fitted with a pair of correct Weber 40 DCOE carburetors. This brings overall output to a quoted 140 bhp. In addition, new seats were fitted and a new dark red leather interior and all parts were replaced where required to original specification. There is a Bluetooth sound system with separate amplifier and a battery kill switch. Invoices on file for this work total to over £62,000.

A seldom-seen Giulia varient, especially in RHD, these cars are truly a thrill to drive and enjoy, with this car’s recent Alfaholics restoration only adding to the overall driving experience.
