The Sunliner displays smart, distinctive styling that captures the state of the automobile in the 1950s. The car is powered by a 239-cid, 110-hp V-8 engine and is finished in red with a black convertible top and a complementary two-tone interior of black and red. The convertible top is movable via an electric motor, as it is a standard feature on this model. The Ford has distinguishing brightwork detail, full wheel covers and wide whitewall tires. With Ford models being reshuffled, the base model was now called the Mainline, the mid-level Customline and the top line, such as this car, was dubbed Crestline.
