Since 1949, the London Taxi has been England's urban people mover, developing through the years to be an efficient, comfortable, and charming transport vehicle. This modern classic is purpose-built for livery and taxi services with an emphasis on reliability. The driver of this left-hand-drive vehicle is treated to a seat that is designed to remain comfortable and supportive, regardless of the day’s length. The dash has a modern-day configuration with ergonomic comforts in mind. There is no front passenger seat, the area is allocated for luggage; the rear compartment has abundant full-size passenger space. Up to five riders can sit in the passenger compartment on a three-across bench and two fold-down “jump seats.”
