The vehicle being offered, HMMWV M1151 or M1152 is in reasonable condition. There are now manufactures data plates other than those with tie down instructions. These indicate that it is either a M1151 or M1152. The vehicle body is painted in desert sand. The tires are very good and all are matching. Front seats are present while all others are missing. Many other parts, including the engine computer, are missing. Most engine parts are present and intact. The fuel tank, rear taillights, fuel cap and battery box cover are missing. The radiator and suspension components look very good. The headlights and tow hooks are present. The exhaust is intact and in very good condition.

Built by AM General, the M1151/M1152 series of HMMWV are expanded capacity armament carrier and armor ready vehicles. The M1151 is designed as an armament carrier with mounting systems for a variety of weapons. Optional gunner's protection kits and manual traversing units for the ring-mounts have also been designed for this vehicle. The M1152 was designed to use one of two type of armor kits including an “A” kit was factory installed and a “B” kit which provides additional mine and ballistic protection. The “B” kit can be installed and removed in the field depending upon mission requirements. They are also equipped with air conditioning systems for crew comfort.

The M1151/M1152 series has seen heavy action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
