The vehicle offered, Dragoon 300 APC, is painted in one coat of paint inside and out. It runs and drives well. All hatches and doors function normally. The top turret or cupola ring is missing and has a cover plate installed. The interior is in good shape and just needs a good cleaning.

The Arrowpointe Corporation produced the Dragoon series of armored car in the 1980s. It is based on components from M113 APC's and U.S. Army 5-ton trucks. It is similar in appearance to the Cadillac Gage V-150 Commando series of wheeled armored vehicles. The Dragoon 300 has a crew of 3 and can transport 6 infantrymen. Various armament packages can be fitted included 20-mm and 25-mm armed two-man turrets, 90-mm gun turrets and others. The Dragoon is fully-amphibious and is propelled in the water by its wheels.

The first production vehicles were delivered to the U.S. Navy and Army in 1983. The U.S. Army used them in the 9th Infantry Division as test vehicles. The Navy used them to guard and patrol nuclear weapons storage facilities in Alaska and the states on the U.S. East coast. Cameroon, Guatemala, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey and Venezuela are the other users of this vehicle. A variation called the Dragoon ASV (Armored Security Vehicle) has been used by several U.S. law enforcement agencies.
